View of dockyard sheds from the east with Hobbs point in the foreground. Ships in foreground - A three funnelled light cruiser of the PATHFINDER class (1904/5), a four funnelled turtled backed destroyer and a three funnelled turtle backed destroyer. In the distance, near the dockyard sheds, is a four funnelled armoured cruiser fitting out, probably either H.M.S WARRIOR or H.M.S. DUKE OF EDINBURGH, both of which were built at Pembroke Dockyard. The former was laid down in 1903, and was the 239th vessel to be built at the yard. The latter was launched on June 14, 1904.
