Bronze Age Gold from Wales
Cup and saucer
Cup, hard-paste porcelain, standing on a high foot, ovoid body, flaring lip-rim, high ring and scroll handle with a moulded mask to the lower terminal; finely painted in polychrome enamels with to the front of the exterior body a large spray of flowers, the foot, exterior lip-rim, interior upper body and handle painted gilt. One side of the body cracked and repaired. Saucer, hard-paste porcelain, rounded waisted foot-rim and spreading sides; finely painted in polychrome enamels with around the sides of the well three floral sprigs, gilt bands around the centre and edge of the well and the edge of the rim. One side of the saucer cracked and repaired.
