Jones himself, she was registered in Caernarfon at 165 tons gross (137 net) and measured 101 feet in length with a 23 foot beam. She spent her career in the salt fish trade having replaced her predecessor of the same name which had been wrecked in December 1902. Sister ship to the MA JAMES.
