Bronze Age Gold from Wales

Middle Bronze Age bronze leaf shaped sword

Upper end of blade only, lenticular-sectioned. Part of the hilt remains, with two rivet holes and one rivet. There is repeated deep notching at the upper end of the blade, which indicates deliberate destruction of the sword (rather than use wear).
