Bronze Age Gold from Wales
Katakuchi
Bowl with pouring spout, pale buff stoneware, plain rounded form with turned foot ring and elongated pouring spout attached to the rim, covered inside and under the base with a black iron-saturated glaze and on the outside with an iron-red glaze.
The stoneware traditions of China and Japan are a constant source of inspiration. In particular, the iron-saturated and celadon glazes from the Sung Dynasty, which appeal to me for their refinement and endless subtleties of colour. '
