Black print on cream paper with handwritten details in black ink. Eight small red seals on lower half. Apprentice's indenture issued to Maurice Smith, aged 13 years, to work for Samuel Phillips on board the LIBERTY of London. Witnessed by the overseers of the Poor of the United Parishes of Saint Margaret and Saint John the Evangelist in the City of Westminster. Dated 3 November, 1846.
