Tray, papier mâché, 'gothic' shape with curving sides; the base covered with a black varnish, the upperside covered with a chocolate-brown varnish, the well painted with floral sprays which have almost entirely worn off so that only traces remain, the sides painted with a border of leaves and flowers.
