Welshpool & Llanfair Railway locomotive model

A well engineered 5 inch gauge model of the Welshpool & Llanfair 0-6-0 narrow gauge Beyer Peacock side tank locomotive No.823 with brazed superheated copper boiler with fittings including water gauge with glass protector, pressure gauge, safety, blower, injector, steam brake, whistle, clack and blowdown valves. Chassis details include twin outside cylinders with Walschaert's valve gear draincocks, mechanical lubricator, eccentric driven feed pump and bypass, injector, whistle, hand feed pump, steam operated brake gear, tank filters, oil boxes and pipes, standing boxes, opening cab windows, riveting, steps, hand and lamp irons, finished in black with red and white lining. Black locomotive with grey and red stripe livery and '823' on red background on brass oblong plaque both sides. Raised brass oval plaque both sides of loco. reads 'BEYER PEACOCK & C L / 1902 / MANCHESTER. Red bumpers at both ends.
