ss. CROWBOROUGH HILL (7320gt) : Built 1945 as EMPIRE TOBAGO by Bartram & Sons, Sunderland for MoWT, managed initially by Sir J. German & Son Ltd., Cardiff, then from 1946 by Counties Ship Management Ltd., London. 1947 – Sold to Ernels Shipping Co Ltd. (Counties Ship Management.,/ Rethymnis Kulukundis) and renamed CROWBOROUGH HILL 1951 – Sold to Andrew Crawford & Co Ltd., Glasgow and renamed GRYFEVALE (3). 1954 – Managed by Buchanan Shipping Co Ltd., 1955 – Sold to Sterling Shipping Co., Nassau, and renamed STERLING VALOUR managed by A. Vergottis, London. 1958 – Sold to Fratelli Bozzo di Giuseppe, Genoa, and initially renamed MADDA PRIMO, later renamed MADDA BOZZO. 1963 – Sold to Seastar Shipping Corporation, Somalia, and renamed KRISS (managed by Italmarine?).
