Conran, Sir Terence (1931 - 2020 Conran founded the Conran Design Studio in 1956 and later the Habitat chain of home furnishings stores that revolutionised the UK High Street in the 1960s and 1970s. Conran founded the Design Museum in London and was Provost of the Royal College of Art 2003-2011.)

Bowl, white earthenware with clear glaze, simple open shape with slightly out-turned rim, inset base; the interior of the bowl is lithograph-printed with the 'Plant Life' pattern, comprising images of three houseplants in a stylised, sketchy manner, to the left side is a cheese plant printed in two shades of green and grey in an orange plant pot within a three-legged plant stand, at the upper edge of the bowl is a leafy house plant also printed in two shades of green in an orange plant pot, to the right is a tall plant with long, narrow leaves in green and grey and small orange flowers, also situated in an orange pot.
