From loose inside a black leather hardback cover (along with other coal mining regulations, bills etc) with the 'British Thomson-Houston Company / Electrical Engineering Manufacturers / Rugby' printed on it. A four part bill divided into: Part I. Unification of Coal Mining Royalties. Part II. Reduction in Number of Coal Mining Undertakings. Part III. Amendment and Continuance of Part I of the Coal Mines Act, 1930. Part IV. Miscellaneous and General. Loose inside the document is a page from the 'Distribution of Electricity' (September 1938 edition) with an article on 'The Hire-Purchase Act'.
