Apprentice's indenture issued to James Kent

Black print on cream paper with handwritten details in black ink. One large red wax seal on lower left hand corner with green material on reverse. Parish Apprentice's indenture issued to James Kent, aged 13 years, to work for John Swan on board the COTTINGHAM of North Shields. Witnessed by the Guardians of the Poor of the Union of Guiltcross in the division of Guiltcross in the county of Norfolk. Dated 2 October, 1848.
