Waterline model of the refridgerated banana carrier M.V. GEESTCREST. In glass case on wooden base.
M.V. GEESTCREST (5871gt). Refrigerated cargo vessel built 1971 by Scotts Shipbuilding & Engineering Co (1969) Ltd., Greenock, for Geest Industries Ltd., Boston. 1981 sold to Latvian Shipping Co., Riga, and renamed KANDAVA. She was broken up by Evergreen Shipbreaking at Chittagong in 1993.
