Bronze Age Gold from Wales
Porthgain, photograph
Photograph captioned 'Porth-gain Harbour Installations. A vital part of the hopper, the arched opening with a sloping base through which the stone was discharged along a chute directly into the hold of the ship. The ruins of the hoppers and parts of the harbour walls reveal a great deal of brickwork. The bricks were manufactured locally but this works, too, has closed down.' Mounted on card. Made for the exhibition RECORDING WALES 3 in 1970/1971.
