Bronze Age Gold from Wales

The "Billie Clock" or "Billie Chwarae Teg" was a large weighing scale where the amount of small coal in a tram could be recorded so that a collier could be paid the correct amount. A weigher, employed by the company, and a checker, on behalf of the colliers, also kept a record.
