Bronze Age Gold from Wales

Vessel of bottle form, porcelain, with turned circular foot with inset base, the body of pointed oval plan with broad level shoulder, turned slightly flaring neck; the neck and foot stained a slightly lustrous brown, the body and shoulder covered with a matt lilac glaze with irregular wax-resist decoration revealing the porcelain body beneath, this tinted irregularly blue, green and lilac, irregular black lines marked over the glaze and the reserved areas.
