Plate, "tortoiseshell" creamware, standing on a flat base, the rim impressed with scroll, bird and trellis pattern, and the inscription "SUCCESS/TO THE ... KING OF/ PRUSSIA... AND HIS/FORCES" [re: Frederick the Great] with a beaded, scrolled edge; sponged green, petrol blue, topaz and brown glaze, mottled and brushed.
