Milk jug

Milk jug, red terracotta eathenware; ovoid body, standing on a shallow rounded foot-rim, rouletted and burnished a red-brown, with a wide rounded rim terminating in balls at the folded lip, ear-shaped handle; coated in a mottled off-white tin-glaze, with orange veining from the body, ornamented with blue spots, the rim with blue dashes, the handle and lip more densely spotted in blue.
