Bronze Age Gold from Wales

Certificate of employment during the First World War which was issued to every soldier to assist the soldier to obtain employment on return to civil life. This certificate was issued to Evan W Jones, and stated his trade before Enlistment as 'slate quarryman'. Evan W. Jones survived the war, but was later was involved in an accident at Dinorwig Quarry, and died at the Quarry Hospital on 1st December, 1924.
