A view of the level crossing gates on the Padarn Railway.
The Padarn Railway was a narrow gauge railway line in North Wales. Its purpose was to carry slate from Dinorwic Quarry to Port Dinorwic. The railway was named "Dinorwic Quarries Railway" but it was always referred to "Padarn Railway". The railway closed on 3 November 1961.
