Bronze Age Gold from Wales

An employee’s identification card, for use at Dinorwic Quarries. The identification card was owned by Mr R. Lloyd Jones, of 5 Cynfi Terrace, Deiniolen. The card was issued by Mr O. T. Williams, Dinorwic Quarries’ General Manager. This dates the card as being issued some time between 1935 and 1960 (when O. T. Williams was Manager). The identification card validated entry to the quarry, and was to be surrendered when the employee left his employment in the quarry.
