Full title :- Between Mr E J Stoughton and Mr Leigh 27 July 1801. Handwritten contract in brown ink on cream paper. Content summary:- Drawn up to formulate charge of 1 penny per ton of all goods transported by Mr Stoughton on Mr Leigh's tramroad and also to allow Mr Leigh to extend his tramroad on land leased by Mr Stoughton from Sir Charles morgan and to build a wharf on this land adjoining the canal where Mr Leigh will pay 1 penny per ton on all goods boated by Mr stoughton from the wharf.
