Bronze Age Gold from Wales

Flag

Small hand held Pride rainbow flag on plastic stick. Carried in the parade at Pride Cymru, Cardiff, Saturday 26 August 2022.

Printed in rainbow colours, made from tabby-woven synthetic fabric. Edges are unfinished but appear to be cut with a heated blade to prevent fraying. At the edge adjacent to the pole, the flag is bound by a strip of white plastic material which has a textured surface that makes it look like fabric. This white strip is stitched on with large machine stitches using white thread. A white plastic pole is inserted through the sleeve created by the white strip. At the top of the white plastic pole is a pointed white plastic finial. This is integral to the pole, i.e. made in one piece. The flag sits loosely on the pole and easily slides up and down.
