Bronze Age Gold from Wales

Remember, remember the 5th of November (glass neg)

Collodion glass negative. Group around a bonfire with a Guy on the top. From left to right are James Knight (tutor), Emma & Lucy Llewelyn, John Talbot Llewelyn, Thereza Llewelyn, Elinor Llewelyn), Willy Llewelyn, Alice Lloyd (nurse) and unknown (possibly Emma Llewelyn). This unidentified fiigure on the far right does not appear on the prints.

Probably catalogue No 470.3 in Photographic Society of London Exhibition in 1856. A print from this negative was allegedly carried off by Queen Victoria from the Exhibition.
