(7132gt) : North Sands type vessel built 1943 by Burrard Dry Dock Co. Ltd., North Vancouver, BC for the Canadian Government / MoWT (managed by Haldin & Philipps, London). 1950 Sold to Soc. Armadora del Norte, Panama, and renamed FALCON. 1954 Ownership transferred to San Pedro Cia Armadora, Panama 1964 Sold to Cia de Nav. Sofia SA, Panama, and renamed GUNA. 1964 Re-sold to Triple Nav. Co., Panama , and renamed PROGRESS (managed by Vendors Navigation Co., Hong Kong). On 3rd November 1966 she ran aground on rocks off the entrance to Madras Harbour during a cyclone, and broke in two.
