Cream paper with hand written details in black ink. Recommendation letter to certify that Capt. D.J. Jenkins served as second officer on the S.S. KING EDWARD, Port of Cardiff, signed by the master John Davies, dated 23 Jan 1909.
Steel steamship, 4357 gross tons. Built by Stephensons Yard, Hebburn on Tees in 1906 for King Line. Sold on in 1924 and broken up in 1932 at Pola.
