An unsigned contemporary transcription on paper of a deed dated 30 July 1691 for the sale of a one eighth share in lead mines in the parish of Llangadog, Carmarthenshire between by Sir Stephen Evance of London, Knight to Samuel Cudworth of London, Merchant. The deed recites the details of an agreement dated 2 July 1691 between Henry Owen Esq of Glassalt, Carmarthenshire, discover of the mines; John Lord Vaughan Earl of Carbery of Golden Grove, Carmarthenshire; Sir Stephen Evance of London, Knight; and William Seawon of London, Merchant to for a partnership to own and work the mines in the ratio of 4:2:1:1 together with details of their financial contributions to the partnership. Handwritten in ink on three loose pages.
