Mansion House Welsh Miners' Fund, silver ewer
Silver ewer awarded to Arthur Lawrence for his bravery in saving life in the 1877 Tynewydd Colliery inundation.
Silver with floral decoration on body and attached lid and spout has bearded head as decoration and beneath spout, inscription surrounded by floral design, whole on a raised base and silver plain handle with two ivory insets tailed by a silver heart. Hallmarked London, 1877 with assay mark, and maker's mark 'HH' stamped on base.
