Bronze Age Gold from Wales

B.S.A. ladies bicycle

Ladies model 22" frame (frame number 7513) bicycle in black "wartime finish". Standard form ladies frame. Black rimmed (Westwood pattern) front wheel with 26" x 3/8" Michelin Roadster tyre. Rear wheel has a chrome plated rim (Westwood pattern) fitted with 26" x 1 3/8" Halfords Tuffwear tyre and a three speed Sturmey Archer hub operated by a lever on frame down tube. Original equipment would have been a 2 speed Hub. Brakes are rod operated stirrup type. Black "pull back" handlebars fitted with thumb opearted "King of the Road" bell and original B.S.A. plastic hand grips.

There is a steel rear carrier with spring loaded trap. All steel mudguards are black with white tip on rear and a white bodied reflector. The pedals are fitted with white rubbers except on insert on the left pedal which has a black insert fitted. Brooks leatherette mattress type saddle fitted, front and rear cycle lamp holders. Now original alloy "Shuresta" cycle stand fitted to bottom bracket. Chrome plated "Quick" cycle lock fitted to left hand saddle stay. A chainguard is also fitted. Tyre pump is missing.
