Medieval silver ring

Silver finger ring. Three square fields of ornament, the larger central one bearing a cross against a niello background, with indented edges to field; the smaller fields to either side are decorated with maltese crosses on niello background. The three fields are linked by two parallel cablework strands; the remainder of the hoop is plain, tapering slightly to base.
