Bronze Age Gold from Wales

Colour photographs showing the stages in the manufacture of the carved wooden coal miners boot (2010.92/1). The wood for the boot was obtained from a 'foot block' (used to stablise ringed roadway supports) taken from Bersham's timber yard in 1986 when the colliery closed.
