Built 1942 as OCEAN VIGOUR by Permanente Metals Corp., Richmond, California, for MoWT managed by E.R. Management Co., Liverpool(?). She took part in the transportation of “illegal” Jewish immigrants from Haifa back to Hamburg. 1948 – Sold to British Steam Shipping Co (J.Cory & Sons), Cardiff, and renamed RAMILLIES. 1954 – Sold to Orders & Handford Steamship Co (same managers). 1955 – Sold to Buchanan Shipping Co (Andrew Crawford Ltd), Glasgow, and renamed GALAVALE. 1957 – Sold to Corrada Soc. Anonima di Nav., Genoa, and renamed CONFIDENZA. She was broken up at La Spezia in 1967.
