Bronze Age Gold from Wales

Coffee percolator

Square base with pierced sides (one of which is hinged and opens to admit a spirit lamp), on four claw feet. Cylindrical urn, with brass tap at bottom, and two lion head ring handles. Body decorated with chinoiserie figures and landscapes. Close-fitting lid shaped as a cup, with tapering stem and square base. Interior fitted with cylindrical pierced filter. Black japan ground. Decoration in colours and gilding.
