S.S. FORT AKLAVIK (7132gt). North Sands type built 1943 by Burrard Dry Dock Dock Co., North Vancouver, for MoWT (managed by Dodd, Thompson & Co., London. 1946 – Managed by Novocastria Shipping Co., for Ministry of Transport, London. 1950 – Sold to Dalhousie Steam & Motor Ship Co., London, and renamed IRENE DAL. 1952 – Sold to Cia. Maritima Volcan SA, Panama, and renamed VOLCAN (managed by Trans Oceanic SS Co., Karachi). 1953 – Sold to Trans Oceanic Steamship Co., Karachi, Pakistan and renamed OCEAN ENVOY. She was broken up at Karachi in 1966.
