Neolithic flint oblique arrowhead

An oblique arrowhead of black unpatinated flint. The arrowhead has a hollow base and a single barb. The flake has little retouch along one edge, the other is more heavily modified.

Flint oblique arrowhead, 3000-2500 BCE, from Ely Racecourse, Cardiff. Pieces of bone or antler were used to press thin flakes from the edge of a piece of flint.
