Carmarthen & Cardigan Railway locomotive model

7mm scale model of Carmarthen and Cardigan Railway broad gauge locomotive 4-4-0ST, ETNA, of 1864. Livery black with red fenders, gold features and gold and black nameplate near footplate.

Locomotive was built by Rothwell of Bolton in 1864. Wheels 5 feet 3 inches; cylinders 17 x 24 inches. The broad gauge Carmarthen and Cardigan Railway had four locomotives 'Etna' and 'Hecla' sold to the South Devon Railway in 1868 (where she worked until 1892) and 1872 respectively.
