S.S. BLUSH ROSE, glass negative

¾ Starboard stern view of S.S. BLUSH ROSE, c.1936.

Built by Earle's Shipbuilding and Engineering Co. Ltd., Hull, June 1913. Completed by N.V. Scheepsbouwwerf 'de Merwede', Hardinxweld for Richard Hughes & Co., Liverpool 6.2.1942. Beached in Dale Roads after air attack three miles south of St. Ann's Head whilst on a voyage from Dublin to Swansea in ballast - towed to Milford Haven and repaired 2.8.1945. Sunk in collision with steamer GLAUCUS, 20 miles off Holyhead whilst on passgae from Dublin to Preston in ballast.
