Loading a return cargo onto M.V. GEESTBAY at Barry Docks. Banana boats were loaded up with general cargo for their return to the Windward Islands.
M.V. GEESTBAY (7891GT) built 1964 by Nederlandsche Dok, Amsterdam, for Geest Industries Ltd., Boston. 1973 – Sold to Christian Haaland, Norway, and renamed NORTH STAR. 1975 – Sold to Mariime Company Overseas, Monrovia, and renamed ISLA VERDE. She was broken up at Huangpu, Shanghai, in 1984.
