Photograph showing the coke ovens built on the site of Union ironworks, Rhymney. Taken between 1890-1901. To the left are the newly built block of 32 coppee non-recovery ovens. At centre is the 1890 block of 56 coppee non-rcovery ovens. To the right are the 1890 bunkers. By this date the company was a colliery concern and no longer an iron and steel maker. Mounted on paper and card.
