Daily Telegraph Welsh Miners' Fund, tankard

Full title :- Daily Telegraph Welsh Miners' Fund, presented to Mr Thomas G.Davies for Gallant conduct.

Silver tankard decorated with two horizontal raised ball lines near top and base of tankard surrounded either side by chain of circles design and centre front within a circle inscribed scroll then within a wreath of lilies a lighted candle and inscription below which a crossed pick and shovel and the whole surrounded by a wreath of lilies. With maker's name and address and maker's mark stamped on base.

Hallmarked London, 1877 with duty mark.
