B.P. fireless locomotive No.'1'

0-4-0 fireless locomotive “No.1”. Builder’s No. 2,238. Standard 4-coupled works shunting locomotive with reducing valve. Painted green. Locomotive ordered for the Distillers Co. Ltd. for 'New Extension, Barry Dock, South Wales'. Delivered painted green 22.2.1948 'No.1'. Distillers later became British Resin Products Ltd., and later still B.P. Chemicals, where the locomotive was in use until 1986. Obtained 1988 from BP Chemicals Ltd, Barry Works. Unrestored.
