Medieval copper alloy purse stretcher

A complete purse bar. Two arms with a central rectangular block. Each arm is circular in cross-section and terminates in a globular terminal, segmented into two. A vertical circular hole runs through the central block, through which the swivelling suspension bar & hoop is secured. Probably 15th/ early 16th century.
