Frith, David (b. 1943)
Wheel-thrown, stoneware bowl, heavy, footring, shallow form with rim. Decorated with coloured glazes; well of bowl red, decorated with a pattern of of spots and narrow wavy lines terminating in small ovals: spots light blue with dark blue centres and orange eyes, lines pale blue and silver lustre. Pattern repeated on a smaller scale on rim on a finely mottled dark and light blue ground, silver lustre strokes tinged orange. Bowl exterior celadon with dark blue patches and lines, orange line under rim. Shiny glazes.
