Blue card cover with white label in centre, upon which are printed and handwritten details relating to the logbook. Chief Engineer's Logbook of the ship RESTORMEL of Cardiff, dated 22 July, 1962 to 28 September, 1962, from Manchester. Handwritten details in pencil inside book. Loose in book is an opened-out cigarette box with handwritten details relating to the arrival at Bombay on reverse.
