Plate, white earthenware, pearl glaze, concave base with cushion moulded profile; blue soufflé ground with central, circular, reserve cartouche hand-painted in polychrome enamels with a fox in a wooded landscape, a dead sheep by its feet, bands of gilding to rim and edge of cartouche.
