Bronze Age Gold from Wales

Tenby lime kilns, photograph

Photograph captioned 'Lime Kilns at Tenby. These kilns at Tenby are known locally as Nash Kilns, the story being that they were designed by John Nash who lived at nearby Carmarthen for a period. There is a magnificence about the arched passageway which runs under the kilns and a suggestion of industrial architecture rather than mere industrial building. They date from the late 19th Century.' Mounted on card. Made for the exhibition RECORDING WALES 3 in 1970/1971.
