Bronze Age Gold from Wales

A copy of the North Wales Quarrymen’s Union ‘gwyl lafur’ (labour day) programme, 1959, which was held in Blaenau Ffestiniog on 16th May, 1959. The programme was originally owned by Mr Alun Roberts, a quarryman at Dinorwig Quarry. The programme lists the names of union representatives and members of the NWQU’s working party (Cyngor Gweithiol). Mr Alun Roberts is listed as a member of the ‘Cyngor Gweithiol’, which reflects the fact that he was an active member of the NWQU.
