ss TEMPLE ARCH (5138gt) : Built 1939 by Lithgows Ltd., Port Glasgow, with engines by Rankin & Blackmore, for Temple Steamship Co. (Lambert Bros.), London. 1959 - Sold to General Carriers S.A., Monrovia (managed by A.& D. Chandris) and renamed MARIHORA. On the 3 November 1966, she became stranded and broke in two 2 miles south of Madras during a cyclone while in ballast on a passage from Singapore to Madras.
