Bus drivers' badge

Circular white metal badge showing a church below which an inscription on a garland (within the circle). Below the circle another garland upon which the word DRIVER. Badge has split pin for attachment.

The badge was originally one of two badges(see also 2001.172/7) worn above the peak on the dark blue Gelligaer Urban District Council patent peaked (green underside) felt hat (2001.172/5). Both badges have been removed for storage.
