ANGLO-AFRICAN (5601gt) : Built 1929 by Short Brothers Ltd., Sunderland, for Nitrate Producers Steamship Co. Ltd., (managed by Lawther Latta & Co. Ltd., London). 1943 – Acquired by Reardon Smith Line Ltd., Cardiff. 1948 – Renamed NEW WESTMINSTER CITY (2) – same owner. 1949 – Sold to Normanton Steamship Co. Ltd., and renamed LORD CODRINGTON (managed by Ships Finance & Management Ltd, London). 1952 – Sold to Tozai Kisen K.K. Japan, and renamed TOZAI MARU No.7. 1956 – Sold to Kusakabe Kisen K.K., Japan, and renamed RISSHUN MARU. She was broken up at Japan in 1965.
